Tällä viikolla neulominen on ollut suhteellisen purkuvoittoista. Pas de Valsen alku joitui purkuun, sillä olin lukenut ohjetta väärin monta kerrosta, ja jos olisin jatkanut samaa rataa, olisivat silmukat loppuneet kesken etu- JA takakappaleista. Olihan tuo hieman noloa huomata, muttta onneksi mukavat Ravelry-ryhmäläiset auttoivat myös meitä, joilla ohjeiden sisäänluku ei ole aina huipussaan.
Aloitin myös lahjahuivia Shibuiknitsin baby alpakasta, ja sekin joutui purkuun muutamaan otteeseen, ennen kuin vihdoin päädyin päättämään mitä mallia käytän. Se on omasta päästä, ja toivon, että saaja tykkää siitä.
Knitting in my neck of the woods has been dominated by frogging this week. My Pas de Valse ended up frogged, as I'd read the instructions improperly, and had thus utterly FAILED at knitting it correctly for several rows. Had I continued along the same track, I would have run out of stitches in the body portion. I was quite embarrased to notice my utterly noob-like mistake, but gladly there are nice people in the Twist Collective Ravelry group. They managed to aid even the pattern comprehension challenged ones among us.
I also started a gift scarf out of the Shibuiknits baby alpaca, and I frogged my attempts a few times, before I picked the right pattern for it. I'm improvising it, so I hope the recipient likes it.
